At Barrington Area Conservation Trust we believe that partnerships are one of the best ways to advance our mission and strengthen our community ties. In 2009-2010, we are proud to have had the pleasure of working with:

  • Village of North Barrington: Worked on the Flint Creek Watershed Project and grant applications for protecting the watershed
  • Village of Barrington Hills: Worked together to improve and update the Village Comprehensive Plan
  • Stormwater Management Commission: Partnered with the Village of North Barrington on a grant application
  • Flint Creek Watershed Partnership: Held a joint grant workshop featuring U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Illinois Department of Natural Resources, United States Army Corps of Engineers, and Stormwater Management Commission
  • The Conservation Foundation: Partnered on the 420-acre conservation easement project for Horizon Farms; assisted with the sale of rainbarrels; partnered on the continuing development of our easement program and Conservation@Home program
  • The Law Offices of George Covington: Provided BACT assistance on legal programs
  • Hospice of Northeastern Illinois: Partnered on the Barrington Concours d’Elegance
  • United States Fish and Wildlife Service: Worked on homeowner problems along Flint Creek
  • Citizens for Conservation: Partnered on the Conservation@Home program
  • Tallgrass Restoration: Donated to Conservation@Home
  • Law Offices of Drinker Biddle and Reath: Worked together to host our Lawyers’ Roundtable
